St Peter's Square, Vatican City Postcard

Vintage photomechanical print of St Peter's Square in Vatican City, which was taken towards the end of the 19th century. The photograph shows a view of the square with the Vatican Palace in the background. The centre of the square is marked by an Egyptian obelisk made of red granite, with a granite fountain by Carlo Madern one one side and matching fountain by Gian Lorenzo Bernini on the other. Catholic Chi Rho Embroidered Baseball Caps

The ancient and traditional symbol of Catholicism is called the “Chi Rho” because Chi and Rho are the names of the first letters of the name of Christ as spelled out in Greek (ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ, or Χριστός). This symbol is also sometimes called the Labarum.
