Really beautiful artwork on this WWII U.S. Navy recruiting poster for the women's naval service – the WAVES as well as the SPARS (the U.S. Coast Guard Women's Reserve). The woman on this poster looks more like a pinup girl than a sailor; I suspect it snagged the attention of more males than females. 🙂
