Tartarugas para Amanhã MMF Drink Bottle Reusable Water Bottle

These 'Tartarugas para Amanhã' drink bottles provide the Marine Megafauna Foundation (MMF) with vital funds to work towards conserving endangered marine life worldwide. The Tartarugas para Amanhã logo was created in Mozambique by Jess Williams, the lead scientist for MMF's sea turtle research program. The concept behind Tartarugas para Amanhã “Turtles for Tomorrow” is to ensure the long term conservation of sea turtles in Mozambique through a collaboration with local fishers, the diving industry and researchers. The ingestion of plastic by sea turtles is an increasing problem globally, as once ingested the plastic can create a blockage in their digestive system affecting their buoyancy. Without control over their buoyancy the turtles drift on the surface of the ocean, unable to dive down to forage for food or escape predators. Using an drink bottle like this rather than single use plastics will actively contribute towards to conservation of sea turtles.
