What Cancer Cannot Do Magnet

The author of this poem is unknown, but it is known that it was written in the winter of 1999. This inspirational poem has come into our hearts at a time when despair seems right around the corner. It gives hope and strength when it is needed most. Breast cancer and all cancers can be devastating and I hope this poem lessens the feeling of despair and hopelessness as it has for my family and me. I have humbly put a piece of my artwork in the background, called Butterflies Pink on Pink. I thought it might be appropriate as a watermark for the poem. What Cancer Cannot Do Cancer is so limited. It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope. It cannot corrode faith. It cannot eat away peace. It cannot destroy confidence. It cannot kill friendship. It cannot shut out memories. It cannot silence courage. It cannot invade the soul. It cannot reduce eternal life. It cannot quench the spirit.
