This photograph was taken in Galveston, Texas the day before Hurricane Ike slammed ashore. The statue is a monument to those who lost their lives in the 1900 Galveston Hurricane. Be sure to purchase lots of these cool postcards! The profits will be used to help finance my medical school education!
