Saint Francis of Assisi (Giovanni Francesco di Bernardone; (1182 – 1226) was a Catholic friar and preacher. He founded the Franciscan Order, assisted in founding the woman’s Order of St. Clare, and the lay Third Order of Saint Francis. St. Francis is one of the most venerated religious figures in history and is known for his love of animals as well as the famous ” Prayer of St. Francis: Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen “

"Unicorn's Ghost" Greeting Card
A very atmospheric scene of a melancholy girl holding a lovely skull of what appears to be a unicorn. In the background you can see the famous medieval Unicorn Tapestry hanging on the wall (now in the Moyen Museum (Musee de Cluny) in Paris. This piece debuted at the Dragon*Con Art Show in 2012 and the original painting had a custom frame by Jasmine's husband Matt – a very unique shield shaped frame in a dark patina finish with a Jasmine fairy face carved into the ornamentation at the top. My own original acrylic painting.

"Microcosm: Triceratops" iPad Case
"Microcosm: Triceratops" is the second painting in my Microcosms series – delving into the theme of Alchemical microcosms – miniature life and worlds created in glass jars or beakers. This installment features a beautiful girl painted in a very classical style, holding an aerated glass orb containing a tiny primeval world, complete with triceratops! As an amateur paleontologist I simply love dinosaurs and adore painting them when possible. This is one of my favourite paintings – it also features the iris, one of my favourite flowers. This painting debuted and sold at the Spectrum Fantastic Art Live 2012 show, prints & posters are now available! My own original acrylic painting.
