Praying Mantis, Outside on deck of my apartment 2009 December 2008. A Praying Mantis dropped from the sky onto my deck. He looked stunned so I took him inside and fed him a couple of flies (as food is scarce for these guys this time of year) and then let him crawl around on a house plant for a couple of hours.
