"Unicorn's Ghost" Greeting Card
A very atmospheric scene of a melancholy girl holding a lovely skull of what appears to be a unicorn. In the background you can see the famous medieval Unicorn Tapestry hanging on the wall (now in the Moyen Museum (Musee de Cluny) in Paris. This piece debuted at the Dragon*Con Art Show in 2012 and the original painting had a custom frame by Jasmine's husband Matt – a very unique shield shaped frame in a dark patina finish with a Jasmine fairy face carved into the ornamentation at the top. My own original acrylic painting.

The First X-Ray, 1901, Photograph Greeting Cards
In 1901 Wilhelm Konrad Roentgen was the first recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physics, and he truly deserves his place in history because his discovery revolutionized the medical world. A series of experiments helped him notice that barium platinocyanide emits a fluorescent glow. Combining his observation with a photographic plate and his wife's hand, he made the first X-ray photo, and thus, made it possible to look inside the human body without surgical intervention.
