Providence Steam Rollers Poster
Providence, RI sports lore is here for sports t-shirt fanatics! Providence Steam Rollers a professional American football team based in Providence, Rhode Island from 1925 to 1931. The Steam Rollers won the 1928 World Championship. The team had been established in 1916. Most of their home games were played in a 10,000-seat stadium that was built for bicycle races called the Cyclodome near West Providence, Rhode Island. The Steam Rollers hosted the first professional night game on November 6, 1929 losing to the Chicago Cardinals, 16-0.

"Scavengers" Button
This painting is a little different for me – a very limited palette with only hints of colour – a post-apocalyptic scene with a cyberpunk / steampunk sorta feel to it – featuring some beautiful vultures! The term scavengers in this case refers to the girl (an urban fairy with vulture wings) and her vulture friends – all digging through the remnants of a doomed civilization. I got the idea for this one simply by stumbling across two sweet vultures by my house – they were being very sweet, nuzzling each other like lovebirds – it struck me that they might make for good friends in the right situation. This is my own original acrylic painting.

SS Matsonia Vintage Passenger Ship of Matson Lines. – The SS Malolo (later known as Matsonia, Atlantic, and Queen Fredrica) was an American Cruise liner built by William Cramp & Sons, Philadelphia in 1926 for the Matson Line. She was the first of a number of ships designed by William Francis Gibbs for the Matson Line. The Matson Line did much to develop tourism in the Hawaiian Islands. In 1927 it commissioned its largest ship yet, the Malolo (flying fish) for the First-Class luxury service between San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Honolulu. The Malolo and other Matson liners advertised superb public rooms, spacious cabins, swimming pools, a gymnasium, and a staff, including a hairdresser, to provide superlative service. Anglerfish Submarine steampunk lowbrow Art Print
Anglerfish Submarine – one of my favourites I've painted to date (Matt's too). Some of you may have noticed my fascination with deep-sea abyssal sea creatures, as well as steampunk theming, and this painting combines them both. A beautiful violet eyed girl sits within the interior of an elaborate submarine which looks all the world like a clockwork anglerfish (lanternfish). Okay, it's kind of an odd painting, but there is something very striking and magical about it – kinda Jules Verne. Who doesn't love a steampunk submarine shaped like a giant fish?
