On July 4th 1976 we all celebrated America's Bicentennial. Then on 25 July, 1976 this image was captured. Two hundred years and twenty-one days after the signing of the Declaration of Independence the Viking 1 orbiter snapped this picture and everything changed, once again. Scratch Gallery Wrap Canvas
This hyper-real oil painting by Jeff Bartels is a close up view of two hands with a couple of turntables and a mixer. The tight cropping of this image shows a man’s right hand using a switch on the mixer and his left hand scratching a record.
